The Saint Vital Parkway

The Saint Vital Parkway runs from the south east corner of Lyndale drive, along St Mary's road, Kingston crescent, Dunkirk drive, St Vital road and River road to Bishop Grandin Boulevard at the Fort Garry bridge. This route is an effective way for residents of Saint Vital to head either downtown or to Saint Boniface.

While the route is primary on roads as opposed to trails, the parkway manages to avoid heavy traffic and takes advantage of come cycling infrastructure on Dunkirk drive. On some maps there appears to be trails along the river below St Mary's road and behind the canoe club, but I haven't found any traces of those trails. The last leg of the parkway follows a trail that starts in Saint Vital park and provides access through the cemetery.
