The Register reports that Graham Linehan, genius behind the IT Crowd, has confirmed that the show will not be continuing for a fifth season. As is expected and perfectly reasonable for a show in its fifth season, the show no longer holds the same interest for Linehan that it used to.

While this is certainly a bit disappointing, considering Linehan's other work I'm sure there will be more excellent television to watch soon.

Today I was pleased to find out that the third season of The IT Crowd starts showing this Friday.  The IT Crowd is, by far, my favourite TV show because it is funny, nerdy and not a reality show.  It features Roy, Moss and Jen who staff the IT department at Reynholm Industries and their attempts at gaining a social life, dating, the fine arts, and more.  I know I'll be watching on Friday.

The BBC has just announced that it will be producing a third season of the IT Crowd. Yay! No one knows when it will air, but I'm thinking probably in a years time.

Last week was a very special time for all of the spring staff at camp. After much waiting and anticipation, season two of the IT Crowd went on air last Friday in England.

You may remember previously that the IT Crowd is a highly acclaimed comedy revolving around the lives of the technical department of a company. They are rather inept socially, have great troubles with relationships, tend to be confused most of the time and are easily suggestible, much like all the nerds who live in their parent's basement. It is the funniest television programme I have seen in a long time.

The new season has been broadcast and is already on the peer to peer networks. If you would like to see it, a torrent can be found at isohunt . I highly recommend watching it, you'll have a good laugh.

I think I have shared the wonderful television show that is "The IT Crowd" with most of my friends, so you probably have a clue what I am talking about. The BBC aired the first season a little over a year ago and the second series is scheduled to start in January. The wait for the second series has already been too long for my tastes.

To add to the fray NBC is considering doing an American version of the show. I imagine that like "The Office" it will be a poor substitute for the original, but time will tell.

Even if the American version doesn't stack up to the British version, I am curious to see both the new season and the American version when it comes out. Grr... waiting.
